Immiscible

What is Immiscible?

Immiscible items cannot be combined. When they are mixed together they maintain their own original existence instead of forming a new compound.

An example of this is water and oil. No matter how much you whisk to combine them the mixture will still be water and oil.

In contrast, if two items that are miscible are combined they will form a homogenous solution which is a new compound.
